Silent Installs

"Silent" installation alleviates the need for step-by-step prompting when running MSI installer packages. Incorporating a "passive" switch command line to your MS-DOS prompt allows for the installer to carry out the installation process in the background, and a visible status bar will provide real-time updates on the progress of the installation. When initiating a silent install, you must be logged in as the user who will be utilizing the software.
